Our therapists strive to provide affirming, supportive, inclusive therapy to folks of all genders and honor intersectional identities. We are understanding of the unique social pressures and mental health concerns LGBTQAIP+ clients face through lived experience as accomplices within the LGBTQAIP+ community. We are dedicated to continued growth and training in diversity, sexuality and upholding the WPATH standards of care in our practice.

Tiffany (she/her) is the owner of Prairieville Counseling and Wellness Center. She is passionate about ensuring that Prairieville Counseling is a safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community in Louisiana to find mental health support. Tiffany started the LGBTQIA+ Adolescent Support group in 2016 and has over a decade of experience working as an advocate and ally for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Kirsten (she/her) led our Allies Unite Family Support Group. This group was a supportive group for those navigating their child's LGBTQIA+ journey to foster understanding and acceptance.
Kirsten is passionate about education and advocacy and has spent time at our state capitol speaking to our state legislators, advocating for LGBTQIA+ rights. She has also presented at state conferences to advocate for ethical and affirming LGBTQIA+ mental health care. She also understands the importance of continued education and has completed safe space trainings, surgical and post operative gender affirming care for mental health providers, transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) communities, working with trans youth and their families and more.

Haylie (she/her) is passionate about providing a safe and supportive space where LGBTQIA+ individuals feel seen, heard, and accepted. She believes that everyone deserves a place where they can be their authentic selves without fear or judgment. Haylie is committed to ongoing learning and advocacy to ensure she provides affirming and compassionate care to those within the LGBTQIA+ community

Paige (she/her) is dedicated to creating an inclusive and affirming environment where LGBTQIA+ individuals feel empowered to explore and embrace their identities. She believes in the power of connection, compassion, and authenticity in the healing process. Paige is committed to continued growth and advocacy, and she strives to offer care that is not only supportive but deeply rooted in respect and understanding for the LGBTQIA+ community

Julie (she/her) is the group leader of our LGBTQIA+ Adolescent Support Group. She is deeply passionate about ensuring all clients feel seen, heard, and validated in their identities. She strives to create a welcoming, safe, and affirming space where LGBTQIA+ individuals can show up as their authentic selves without fear of judgment. Julie is committed to ongoing learning and unlearning, recognizing the impact of societal systems on identity, self-worth, and mental health, and approaches this work with humility, curiosity, and compassion.
