Hi, I’m Abigail. I spent 4 years as a classroom teacher and have a total of 14 years of experience working with children. I loved helping children learn, grow, and thrive in the classroom, and that passion inspired me to become a therapist. Now, I enjoy supporting children, teens, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges.
I grew up in Nebraska and studied art in college in Minnesota. I share my home with my cat, Calvin, and in my free time I enjoy pottery, sewing with my vintage machine, swimming, kayaking, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and reading with my sci-fi book club.
I love helping clients of all ages feel seen, understood, and supported while building coping skills and confidence. My approach blends play therapy, strengths-based techniques, mindfulness, visualization, and somatic-focused strategies. I enjoy working with children and teens using creativity and play, and I also support adults with strategies for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My background as a teacher gives me unique insight into how children and families navigate challenges, and I bring warmth, patience, and creativity to every session.
