Hello! I was born and raised in Baton Rouge and enjoy providing counseling for members of my community. In 7th grade my Godfather's family had a loss in the family which "lit my fire" to help people struggling with their own mental health, trauma, and grief. In my spare time I love to photograph nature, enjoy indoor rock climbing, trivia and playing Dungeon's and Dragons with my friends as often as I can.
My approach to therapy is to begin with forming a trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients while working towards the client’s goals for him/her/their self. Imagine you are driving your car of "life" and you need a little help getting to where you want to be. You see me, a friendly helpful looking therapist on the side of the road. I get in the passenger seat and help you navigate to your goals. I never grab the wheel but rather gently remind you how to get to where you want to go. Once you feel you have met the goals you want to meet, you let me out and continue down the road. You are welcome to return to session anytime you need. No matter what you bring to my (in person or virtual) office, you can expect to be met with non-judgement, compassion, and authenticity.
I work with young adults (ages 14 and older), adults, and older adult clients. I also offer relationship counseling.
